British Columbia PNP update — October 29, 2026. The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) issued invitations under its Innovate: High Economic Impact selection approach. The province’s published results list two selection groups for the same date, totalling 772 invitations.

October 29 invitation results

524 invitations: candidates with a job offer paying at least CAD $49 per hour and $99,000 per year, in occupations classified under NOC TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3.

248 invitations: candidates selected using the program’s registration points system, with a minimum BC PNP score of 131.

These are two distinct selection criteria. The published wage condition and the BC PNP point score should not be confused with federal Express Entry CRS points or treated as a general requirement for all BC PNP pathways.

What this may mean for applicants

Workers who have a qualifying job offer in British Columbia and who are registered under an eligible BC PNP stream may wish to verify how their hourly wage, annual salary, occupation classification, registration score and employment information match the program rules. Invitations do not guarantee nomination, and the program can change its thresholds in future rounds.

What CMS can review

Canada Migration Services Inc. can assess whether your occupation, BC employment arrangements and immigration history may support a provincial nomination route, or whether another provincial or federal pathway warrants consideration. Applicants should rely on the program’s official instructions for submission deadlines and document requirements.
