Tips Before You Book

Book the Canada-specific version. IELTS Academic, standard TEF, and standard TCF are not accepted for Canadian immigration. Always confirm you are booking IELTS General Training, TEF Canada, or TCF Canada.

Book early. Test seats fill quickly β€” especially in high-demand cities. Book at least 6–8 weeks before your intended application date.

You can re-test. If your first result isn't high enough, you can re-take the test β€” no limit on attempts. IRCC uses your best result from a test taken within the last 2 years.

Not sure which test to take? The right choice depends on your stream, location, and language background. Ask us in your free assessment β€” we advise every client before they book.
